I thought that you would be my friend

It was stupid of me to believe
We’re too young to feel that way
But i never thought that you would leave.
You changed my life around
I cant turn back the clock
I wouldn’t ever want to hurt you

I write the words with pen in hand
The ink is within my heart
It flows so freely each drop is love
Words etched on paper, I start

Arousing animal instincts
I thought were out of fashion
It doesnt seem to matter
That I’ve reached my middleage
She seems to see me as I was
At the peak of my best stage
I must admit I’m flattered
Who would’nt if truth be told
All I know is once again
I no longer feel so old!
Breathing brings life
to those who exist
life brings existance
to those who breathe
but life is more than this
feelings make one human
others can grow, propagate
reproduce, make more
only humans can love
or hate, can create
their own futures
through time
the essence of life
is deep inside one’s soul
that drive to succeed
to continue, to live...
Let me see you one last time before I go.
Let me touch you and kiss you and hold you like so.
Let me remember your face as I cry my tears.
Let me tell you that I love you and get rid of my fears.
Feelings of my Broken Heart
Your hand eventually lets go me on d way,
the vanishing promise to altogether stay,
on the path of love i sense u astray,
why did you have to betray?
To b only yours i wud always pray,
be ontop of d world when on my chest you’d lay,
now am complled to decide b/w love and hate,
was awaited with the worst fate
Begin to miss you more, day by day,
my pain knows not how to state
loved you leaping the boundaries i was bounded within, soul mate
the answer to my propsal reached me “nay”
it wasn’t at all late,
i provide you shade with my shelter until the end,
by my side u had promised u wud stand,
why today did you step back than stepping ahead?
The tears in my slumber eyes appear red,
my face, the body, the memories are yet wet,
the bread, next to my bed, with which i was fed,
served with the poison in a bottle on my death bed,
disappearing laughs along vanishing love in the eyes,
comes to me telling you’re so much wise,
NOt once, i had made infinite tries,
then why having her to wave me last byes...

Rude hellos and shrewd goodbyes,
Long conversations and fancy ties.
Trying so hard and falling so often,
All in vain and wished to be in a coffin.
Always searching for something,
Ended up with nothing.
Love is really blind.
When we were about to meet,
Sweetest would be the apt word to describe the way you would greet.
So much disgust, so many sacrifices,
So many denials and so many vices.
Never showed what you felt, I showed what I felt,
Hitting the nail on the head, harshly this man was dealt.
A sobbing tale of love,
Ruthlessness and bitterness were the makings of your pet dove.
Thought it was you that was sent from above,
Judging by how it went, we were far from taking a bow.
Love is really blind.
I did not mind being a fool or a clown or a joker,
Although I was treated like an intruder I was far from becoming a choker.
I was falling in your ditch, you enjoyed every second,
The way I worshipped you, there was no other who could be beckoned.
All day I thought of you, every second I missed you,
Every moment I loved you, every minute I worshipped you.
You decided to end it, leaving me no choice,
I still searched for a reason although I knew that there was no spice.

It all occurred when my eyelids hurt, I did not worship you that night,
I was shocked upon knowing this, but had no fright.
You were everything I needed,
I was not the same for you and I always pleaded.
I still have no idea of the reason, the way you behaved,
I am out of your circle, the one, which to be in I had always craved.

You would always prove that to me, but I knew that it was all in the mind.
I knew how much you were concerned,
If you are, there should be roses and not sharp ferns.
What should I do on your happiest day?
